Food-1-1 is a newly formed Colorado coalition comprised of participants from multi-sectors (i.e., government, for-profit, nonprofit, education, agriculture, etc.) with one goal: to reduce food waste in Colorado by 25 percent by 2023.
Mission: Reduce wasted food in homes, schools, grocery stores, restaurants and other businesses, food-rescue organizations, and on farms throughout Colorado through collaboration, education, technology, legislation and participation; reduce wasted food in Colorado by 25 percent by 2023.
Vision: Wake up to an even more beautiful Colorado — one where no food is wasted.
Purpose: become a 501 (c)(3) organization that continues to reduce food waste in the state of Colorado via legislative policy, innovation, education, communication and outreach.
