Losing isn't failure.
Losing is a part of life that, often times, is beyond your control. Putting your whole self into a project, a game, a relationship, a cause doesn't guarantee its success; there are no guarantees so goes the cliche. What going out on a limb does do is remind you of what you can do: with courage, pretty much anything.
In social entrepreneurship, a standing mantra is: Fail harder. (Or fail faster.) But what is failure?
On Earth, the only failure that exists is the failure to find your backbone, the failure to stand in your own shoes and be yourself, the failure to give a damn, the failure to believe (in yourself, in God, in another), the failure to try.
