I live in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. To the west is the Continental Divide, peaks awesome and snow-capped even as the calendar nudges closer to 2015's halfway point. To the east, high plains and farmland and waves of amber grain.
Boulder is criss-crossed by bicycle paths and running trails as though they were the veins of one of the healthiest cities in America. The startup ethos mixes daily with mountain air, the latter lifting dreams and reviving tired heads; new day, new chance to begin again.
There is so much good surrounding me that I feel badly when I get angry or jealous or petty, but I do.
I'm writing an invitation, then, to the beauty that never takes its eyes off of me, I'm making a little more room inside me by cleaning out a bad habit or negative thought and inviting it to come in and have a seat.
